The event of the month is the Jazz Fest Sarajevo, which is the very reason why renowned jazz artists make regular visits to Sarajevo and it serves as a true platform for presenting interesting local and regional jazz interpreters, as well as top musicians in related genres.
If you're a music lover, then November is the perfect time to visit the Sevdah Art House, which is dedicated to sevdalinka -- traditional urban love songs, specific to Bosnia and Herzegovina. There's also the museum, surrounded by the wonderful atmosphere of the renovated Great Daire (a storehouse dating from the Ottoman period), with its rich collection of items which tell the story of sevdah, while also presenting the most famous sevdah interpreters.
