Immersive Realities: TRANSmedia Futurism
From 15 October to 15 November 2026, the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts Immersive Realities: TRANSmedia Futurism by artist Rikardo Druškić.
This experimental, multidisciplinary exhibition brings together painting, animation, film, sound, light installations and virtual reality. Visitors step into the imaginary world of XANTEA, set in the year 2502, through which the artist explores identity, human nature and our relationship with technology. Using VR, visitors can enter three-dimensional spaces built from Druškić's paintings and explore them from within.
The project took almost four years and involved around 15 collaborators from music, animation, film, 3D production, programming and virtual reality, and produced two animated films along the way.
Because of the nature of the space and the installation, a maximum of 10 visitors may be inside at any one time. Tickets cost 15 BAM and are available via the Fiesta platform.
