Visiting Hours Introduced at Bijela Tabija

Within the walled enclosure of this fortress, you can enter every day between 10:00 and 19:00, at a single admission price of 5 KM.

The public company Sarajevo d.o.o., which manages the city's attractions including the City Hall (Vijećnica) and the Trebević cable car, and works to protect Bijela Tabija and Jajce Barracks from further deterioration, recently completed restoration and conservation work on a section of the walls inside this old medieval fortress as part of a revitalisation project. Renovation of the complex's lighting is also planned for the near future.

Bijela Tabija, situated on a hill offering a breathtaking view of Sarajevo and its surroundings, was one of five tabijas (fortifications) that formed the defensive walls of the old town of Vratnik.
