Heritage Hotel Krone

This luxury hotel opened in the summer of 2016 and is located in Ilidža, an area of Sarajevo that is full of greenery. The building that houses the hotel is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s cultural heritage.

The hotel’s exterior reflects the original appearance from 1907, when the building was constructed, and the interior is a blend of modern design and the familiar Austro-Hungarian style of architecture. A total of 26 accommodation units are available and may be divided into three categories: Deluxe Double Room, Superior Queen Room and Superior King Room.

Krone Heritage Hotel is surrounded by greenery and a two-minute walk will lead you to Velika Aleja, a 3.5-kilometer lane that is lined with 100-year-old chestnut and plane trees. Aleja runs all the way to the source of the Bosna River, a protected natural area whose beauty delights all who visit.

The hotel also offers a relaxing spa center. The restaurant, Mozart, is part of the complex and here you will find a menu featuring specialties from around the world, not just international and local dishes, but also Pakistani, Arabic and Japanese food.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Krone Heritage! A special thank you to Yasmin and Adeeb for their amazing service and hospitality. We stayed for one night to be closer to Sarajevo Airport for our early morning flight. The room was spacious, and the free on site parking was a great plus. Although the AC wasn’t working, we were able to open the windows for comfortable stay. Since we had to leave before breakfast was served, the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast boxes for us, which we truly appreciated. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel well taken care of. Excellent service and genuine hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay closer to SJJ airport.

The hotel is very beautiful and overlooks a large garden. It's clean and their breakfast is good, but you have to arrive early. The only problem is that the rooms are very small, to be honest.
