Baklava Shop
It is said that baklava is a dessert worthy of even the mightiest and most refined taste buds! Baklava is made from thin layers of phyllo dough that are drenched in a sugary syrup, honey and spices and its many varieties are loved in different corners of the world, but here they have been brought to perfection. The shop offers a wide selection of baklava in many flavors (walnut, almond, hazelnut, pistachio, etc.).
Baklava Shop is housed in what used to be an old shop on the northern side of Brusa Bezistan. The interior features wooden and stone elements that blend perfectly with the traditional Bosnian motifs (peškuns, sećijas…).
The shop can be found on Ćurčiluk Veliki, not far from Baščaršija Square and many other attractions.

Lamya, the girl on duty has exceptional Bosnian Coffee making skills. The coffee has some of the best aroma and consistency in town. Plus the Baklava is great, kids got ice cream. Highly recommend the shop, do Ćejf and be kind to Lamya. She is excellent in service and hosting.

The hijab-wearing employee here was extremely rude and disrespectful in the way she treated us. Her behavior and attitude were completely unacceptable and do not reflect the values of respect and good manners that Islam teaches. She spoke to us in a very unpleasant manner and told us to leave the place as quickly as possible, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the situation, customers should never be treated with this level of disrespect. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses her behavior, because this kind of treatment leaves a very negative impression.
