St. Joseph’s Church
What makes this small church so special is that it is built in the Tyrolean-Alpine style and is the only church in the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna made entirely of wood.
St. Joseph’s became a parish church when the actual parish was founded in Pale in 1928. In 2004, it was made a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The church offers mass on Sundays and holidays and organizes a special feast day (May 1) in honor of St. Joseph the Worker.

Beautiful church in downtown of Sarajevo, interior is a must see...
Saint Joseph's Church (Crkva Svetog Josipa, meaning Church of Saint Joseph) in Sarajevo is a Roman Catholic church located in the Marijin Dvor neighborhood, built between 1936 and 1940 in the Neo-Romanesque style, based on designs by Karel Pařík. Its construction was initiated by Archbishop Ivan Šarić, and its interior is decorated with beautiful pink and white marble altars, stained glass windows, and valuable frescoes. The austere yet elegant building is one of the most significant 20th-century church monuments in Sarajevo, protected as a national cultural heritage site.
