This one-story structure, with a loft and wooden balcony supported by beams, is considered one of the most beautiful residences built around Sarajevo at the beginning of the 20th century.
Only two of Risto and Vasilija’s children, Petar and Milojka, survived World War II and, since neither of them had children, Milojka bequeathed the family summer residence to the Dabrobosanska Metropolitanate in 1992.
Ceković House was made a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2004 and it now serves as a gallery for the Pale Art Colony.
