Werkstatt is one of the most popular, original, and aesthetically striking Bosnian-Herzegovinian brands of unique, handmade jewelry. Behind this successful artistic project are two talented artists who met during their studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, under the mentorship of Dževad Hozo, Lejla Nuhić and Ajla Šarić. The founders channeled their knowledge and passion for applied art into the form of wearable design. What sets them apart is the use of unique intaglio printing techniques, such as etching, aquatint, drypoint, mezzotint, and soft-ground (vernis mou).
