The best museum I have ever been to in my LIFE! I video called my father who grew up in Yugoslavia and he fell in love with each and every room. The whole museum felt like I had stepped back in time and I was truly living in the 80s. The kind lady at the front desk was very helpful :) My mother had to practically drag me out of the museum when they were closing up 😅 It was so beautiful there. I want to live in an apartment that looks just like this museum. And the fact that you can quite literally touch EVERYTHING! It TRULY is amazing. I recommend this museum to each and every tourist that visits Sarajevo. Its location is also right next to a cafe, so right after stepping back in time you can grab a little drink! :) Love love LOVE this place.
It’s an amazing place with such a wide collection. As a post-Soviet Union child I had a big nostalgia and as a designer I fascinated by the pieces of that era.
