Hotel is in a great location. Room and hotel is nice and clean. Looks remodeled. Shower is a bit little but works ok. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is very nice.
I am so sorry to say this hotel did not meet our standards and the many people who were with us. The room had filthy carpet, holes in the walls, cramped quarters. I banged on the AC unit close to our bed. The bathroom was so closed to the bedroom that it groosed me out. The place was so small for two people that we literally banged into each other. The view from the room is construction and garbage. I hated staying here and couldn't wait to get out. The hotel has so much potential due to it's location if they spend some money and love on it. I discovered they have a more decent rooms but our group got the worst. The staff were not friendly or accommodating. I asked to switch rooms and they didn't agree. I would not recommend it unless they do some work on it and train their staff.
Good location but rooms and facilities are starting to get run down. Small things broken and not fixes
Exceptional hospitality, they treated us like family We stayed at Sahat Hotel as a family (we booked through Booking.com) and I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Shortly before our trip, our flight was cancelled and our whole plan turned upside down. We were stuck in a very difficult situation, stressed and far from home. From the very first moment we contacted them, the staff at Sahat Hotel were incredible. They completely understood what we were going through, did not charge us any cancellation fee, and kept our room reserved for us so we would still have a place to stay once we managed to get to Sarajevo. In the middle of one of the most stressful travel experiences we have ever had, they gave us one less thing to worry about. That level of kindness and understanding is rare, and we are truly grateful for it. The hotel itself did not disappoint either. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, the location is ideal for walking around the old town and the Baščaršija area, and the whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Every interaction we had with the staff felt friendly and genuine. Sahat Hotel is more than just a place to sleep. It is a place where people genuinely care about their guests. If you are coming to Sarajevo, do yourself a favour and stay here. Thank you to the whole team for everything you did for us.
