Bajka o pozorištu

On Friday, 30 October 2026, the Sarajevo Youth Theatre presents Bajka o pozorištu by the Mostar National Theatre, starting at 8 p.m.

Written by Vladimir Đurđević and directed by Ferid Karajica, the play stars Saša Oručević, Emir Sejfić, Amela Kreso, Jasmin Krpo, Dragana Matrak Bukvić, Diana Ondelj Maksumić and Dino Kerić, with set and costume design by Sabina Trnka.

This satirical comedy puts society's relationship with culture and theatre at the centre of the story. Through absurd situations and familiar mechanisms of power it asks what happens when art becomes a nuisance, a decoration or a means to other ends.

The play closes the 29th Comedy Festival „Smijeh je lijek“.

Tickets cost 20 BAM and are sold at the box office of the Centre for Culture and Youth of Centar Municipality Sarajevo, Jelića 1, on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. On performance days they are also available at the Sarajevo Youth Theatre box office, two hours before the show.
