Art

On Thursday, 29 October 2026, the Sarajevo Youth Theatre presents Art by Yasmina Reza, starting at 8 p.m.

Directed by Emina Kovačević-Podgorčević, the production is a co-production of the Zenica National Theatre and the 29th international cultural festival „Zeničko proljeće“ 2026. It stars Siniša Vidović, Zlatan Školjić and Adem Smailhodžić.

One almost entirely white painting is enough to set off a conflict between three friends. What begins as an argument about art quickly becomes far more than a matter of taste – ego, vanity and everything that has built up within a friendship over the years come to the surface.

Dramaturgy by Nedžma Čizmo, set and costume design by Sabina Trnka, music by Igor Kusupović, movement consultant Emir Fejzić.

Part of the 29th Comedy Festival „Smijeh je lijek“.

Tickets cost 20 BAM and are sold at the box office of the Centre for Culture and Youth of Centar Municipality Sarajevo, Jelića 1, on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. On performance days they are also available at the Sarajevo Youth Theatre box office, two hours before the show.
