Musical: Sarajevo, moje drago

The musical Sarajevo, moje drago returns to the stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September 2026, both nights at 19:30. Further performances are announced for 8 and 9 December.

One of the most striking homegrown music-theatre projects of recent years, it has been seen by more than 5,500 people. In attendance, audience interest and sustained life in the repertoire, Sarajevo, moje drago ranks among the National Theatre’s most successful productions of the past few decades.

It is an original work by Zlatan Fazlić Fazla, who wrote the libretto and twenty musical numbers composed specifically for the piece. Directed by Dino Mustafić, it is performed with the Sarajevo Philharmonic conducted by maestro Fuad Šetić.

The cast includes Ermin Bravo, Aldin Omerović, Sanjin Arnautović, Nedim Šuvalija, Haris Bidžan, Issa Osmić, Armin Omerović, Marko Mirković, Alen Hadžić Morris, Tarik Mulaomerović, Franko Bralo, Anastasija Dunjić, Iva Prgić, Sara Seksan, Nikolina Vujić, Andrea Aković, Vedrana Božinović, Mediha Musliović, Aleksandar Seksan, Mirvad Kurić, Izudin Bajrović, Rijad Ljutović, Merima Lepić Redžepović, Iman Bubić, Mona Muratović and Lejla Hakalović.

Alongside the NPS drama ensemble, the production features the NPS Ballet, the NPS Opera choir, a band assembled especially for the show and the hip-hop dancers Fresh Generation.
