Kawir, Silent Kingdom and Arjen

A concert by the cult Greek black metal band Kawir, with performances by Silent Kingdom and Arjen, will take place on Thursday, 8 October 2026, at Sarajevo’s Klub AG.

The day after the Marduk concert, organised by Black Plague Circle, the black metal weekend in Sarajevo continues.

For more than three decades Kawir has nurtured authentic Hellenic black metal, inspired by ancient mythology and pagan rituals. As one of the pioneers of the Greek scene, alongside bands such as Rotting Christ and Necromantia, they have remained recognisable for their epic melodies and use of traditional instruments that evoke the atmosphere of ancient Greece.

They will be joined by the cult Sarajevo band Silent Kingdom, which for more than 25 years has successfully combined black, death and progressive metal with motifs of Bosnian-Herzegovinian tradition, and Arjen, the solo project of H.P. from Sarajevo’s Black Plague Circle, bringing dark, atmospheric and technically impressive black metal.
