We walked along Copperware Street in Baščaršija, Sarajevo's Old Town. Officially called "Kazandžiluk," the street is lined with numerous small workshops and shops. It's full of Sarajevo-esque goods, such as copper coffee pots, cups, trays, and accessories. We browsed many shops looking for souvenirs for our family. Each shop had different products and designs, so we kept discovering new things and never got bored. However, be careful of pens made from real bullets. I bought one thinking it was a unique souvenir, but it was confiscated at the airport. Because real bullets are used, I wouldn't recommend buying one if you're flying. You might not be able to bring it back even if you buy it. The street itself is very enjoyable and a great place to find souvenirs for family. However, if you're flying home, I recommend carefully checking the material and shape of the goods before purchasing.
The place is great for gifts; it's full of diverse shops and unique gift ideas, especially bookmarks and keychains that can be engraved with your name. However, the prices are high.
