We are Australian and notorious coffee snobs- this coffee was some of the best we had in the Balkans! Really delicious and a lovely place to sit and relax in a quieter part of town.
Honest review after spending three long days working at the cafe on my laptop. The best third wave specialty coffee I could find in Sarajevo. The coffee and milk is really good. Alternative milks available. Great working space for people wit laptops etc. Power points everywhere, and working here is encouraged. Good atmosphere, nicely lit, plenty of space inside and outside. The downsides... the price for one large double shot almond latte is higher than that of the same coffee in Melbourne. To be specific, I paid $18AUD (22MK) for two of the above coffees. That's about $2AUD over the best rated coffees in Melbourne... The cafe only plays ai generated soul music all day, it gets old fast. Would be nice to hear real soul tracks. The staff are a bit hit and miss. They seem grumpy most days which is nothing out of the ordinary for trendy cafe's I guess. Used to it. I wish I could but I can't justify coming here everyday which I would if the prices were reasonable.
Friends... this is where it's happening!!!! So, as for the coffee during the day, I admit I didn't try it, but the locals are unanimous: it's a peaceful, nice place to work in the afternoon, or to pop in quickly for a coffee... But the best part is the evening! A trendy but not too trendy spot, eclectic, with great music, cocktails... 🫨🤤 (especially the basil 🌿), top-notch servers, and an incredible social mix! Convinced, we went there almost every night!!! Cheers!!! 🥂
The coffee was great; we ordered a flat white which was well-balanced. There were no desserts available inside the shop.
I can really recommend Kawa for a short coffee break in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, and the V60 is worthwile trying. The staff is friendly and the barista knows exactly what he's doing.
